Common use of Source Separated Clause in Contracts

Source Separated. “Source Separated” means materials that have been kept separate 428 from the Solid Waste stream, at the point of generation, for the purpose of additional sorting or processing 429 in order to return them to the economic mainstream in the form of raw material for new, Reused, or 430 reconstituted products, which meet the quality standards necessary to be used in the marketplace, or as 431 otherwise defined in 14 CCR Section 17402.5(b)(4). For the purposes of this Agreement, Source 432 Separated shall include separation of waste and materials into different containers for the purpose of 433 complying with this Agreement.
