Common use of Source Separated Clause in Contracts

Source Separated. “Source Separated” means materials that have been kept separate in 528 the Solid Waste stream, at the point of generation, for the purpose of additional sorting or processing in order 529 to return them to the economic mainstream in the form of raw material for new, reused, or reconstituted 530 products, which meet the quality standards necessary to be used in the marketplace, or as otherwise defined 531 in 14 CCR Section 17402.5(b)(4). 532 1.92 SRRE (Source Reduction and Recycling Element). A formal planning document that 533 demonstrates how the City will comply with the Act’s diversion goals.
