SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT. The SDE provides a flexible, integrated environment capable of supporting multiple concurrent software and product baselines for developing and testing GCSS-MC/LCM Increment 1 changes prior to implementation in the R12 production environment. The SDE provides essential support to sustain the health, performance, operation, and usability of the R12 system. The GCSS-MC R12 software configurations developed and tested in the SDE DEV environment are then configured in the SDE CM environment and transferred to the PSS for further testing prior to inclusion within the R12 Production environment. The Contractor shall provide a SDE capability to perform changes, testing, integration, product-development, and CM activities for GCSS-MC/LCM Increment 1. The contractor shall establish and maintain the SDE capability at its own facility. At some point during performance the Government may require the SDE be located in a Government facility, but advanced noticed would be given before a task to move to a Government SDE site is issued. The SDE shall be comprised of the hardware and software necessary to replicate the current R12 production baseline, development and enhancement baselines, data quality and conversion, and major release support used for development and integration testing and may be scalable.
