Solids a) Gross solids shall pass a bar screen with 13 mm openings between the bars and gross solids shall have a quiescent settling velocity not greater than 3 m/hr;
b) The suspended solids concentration shall not exceed 500 mg/L;
c) The total dissolved solids concentration shall not exceed 1500mg/L or an Electrical Conductivity (EC) of 1500 µS and, or;
d) Where the Customer discharges trade waste into a sewage treatment plant involving the use of reclaimed water, then the characteristics of that trade waste must: - • Have a sodium concentration that does not exceed 200 mg/L or a total daily load of 100 kg/day, • Have a Sodium Absorption Ratio (SAR) of 5 or less, and • Have a chloride concentration that does not exceed 250 mg/L.
e) No fibrous material which in the opinion of the Corporation is likely to cause obstructions in the sewer or drain shall be present.

Solids. 5.2.1 Gross solids shall pass a bar screen with 20 mm openings between the bars and gross solids shall have a quiescent settling velocity not greater than 3m/hr.
5.2.2 The suspended solids concentration shall not exceed 600 mg/L.
5.2.3 The total dissolved solids concentration shall not exceed 1000 mg/L or 1600 microS/cm.
5.2.4 The sodium concentration shall not exceed 200 mg/L.
5.2.5 No fibrous material which in the opinion of the Corporation is likely to cause obstructions in the sewer or drain shall be present.
Solids. Pathogenic and biological waste bags. . Paper, cardboard, wood, cloth and plastics and up to 10% tramp metals (S.S., copper, zinc, iron, etc.) . Absorbent material such as diatomaceous earth (DE), solca-floc, and vandermiculite . Haloginated plastics (PVC, Teflon, etc.).
Solids. The mixed liquor suspended solids shall not exceed the average of the previous twelve monthly-averages. Grit, Scum, Screenings, and Ash - Maximum volume shall not exceed a typical one week's production based on normal operating procedures. Wastes such as trash (paper goods), scrap (old parts), etc. should normally not be allowed to accumulate on site. At the time of the evaluation, no more than one week's supply of this waste, such as that described above, shall be present.
Solids. (a) Gross solids must not be discharged unless first passed through a bar screen with maximum 10mm openings.
(b) The Occupier must not discharge any fibrous material reasonably likely to cause obstructions in the sewer, nor discharge any abrasive material reasonably likely to cause damage to the Corporation’s sewerage pumping mechanisms.
