Sole Charge Clause Samples

The Sole Charge clause establishes that a particular individual or party is solely responsible for overseeing and managing a specified task, project, or area without direct supervision or shared authority. In practice, this means that the designated person has full autonomy to make decisions and is accountable for the outcomes within the defined scope, such as managing a department or handling a client account independently. This clause is primarily used to clarify responsibility and authority, ensuring there is no ambiguity about who is in charge and who bears the associated risks and obligations.
