Common use of Soils Report Clause in Contracts

Soils Report. Architect shall review the information provided in the reports described in Section 6.3.3 and shall coordinate with the Architect’s Consultants to confirm that the information provided is adequate for preparation of the Construction Documents (but not for professional or technical adequacy). Architect and the Architect’s Consultants shall conform their design to the geotechnical recommendations and shall, after submitting the final design to the Owner’s geotechnical engineer for review and comment, provide written certification that final design does conform. The Owner’s geotechnical engineer shall review the final Construction Documents for conformance to the report. Verification of the submittal to the Owner’s geotechnical engineer shall be made in writing to Owner.
