Software Maintenance Coverage Clause Samples
The Software Maintenance Coverage clause defines the scope and terms under which software maintenance services are provided to the client. Typically, this clause outlines what types of updates, bug fixes, and technical support are included, as well as any exclusions or limitations, such as support for only the most recent software version. Its core practical function is to set clear expectations regarding ongoing support, ensuring both parties understand the extent of maintenance provided and reducing the risk of disputes over service obligations.
Software Maintenance Coverage. As part of this License Agreement, DirWiz will provide User with one (1) year of Software Maintenance coverage, as described in more detail in the accompanying Software Maintenance Agreement.
a. The Software Maintenance coverage expiration date is set to one year following the Effective Date or the date that the purchase price is paid in full to DirWiz, whichever is earlier.
b. Renewal: User has the option to renew Software Maintenance coverage yearly. Users may choose not to renew the Software Maintenance coverage upon its expiration. However, DirWiz reserves the right to impose a Reinstatement Fee upon any User who wishes to resume Software Maintenance after any lapse in coverage.
Software Maintenance Coverage. Where Software Maintenance is offered upon separate purchase terms from the IAdea Software, the IAdea Software products are sold with one (1) year (the “Initial Maintenance Term”) of Software Maintenance coverage included in the price of the product. During the Initial Maintenance Term, Licensee shall be entitled to Software Updates if and when made available by IAdea. All use of IAdea Software provided pursuant to Software Maintenance coverage shall be subject to the terms of this Agreement. Licensee may elect to continue Software Maintenance beyond the Initial Maintenance Term, subject to availability, upon payment to IAdea (or, as applicable, an IAdea Partner) of the IAdea annual maintenance fee in effect at the time of renewal.

Software Maintenance Coverage. The following technical and functional improvements to the Software will be issued periodically accordingly to a schedule determined by ZIONEX:
a. Fixes to Errors
b. Enhancements contained within version upgrade
