Software and License versions. Whether installed from CD or downloaded from the website, the installation software is Evaluation Software which is time-limited, functionality-restricted, and intended for testing installation compatibility and feature demonstration rather than productive commercial use. After installation and registration of the Evaluation Software, the Licensee can upgrade to Activated Software by purchasing and installing an activation key from the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇ website. When registered, the activation process will automatically download additional software to upgrade the Evaluation Software, to Activated Software with full functionality for all software modules purchased. The upgrade from Evaluation to Activated Software also includes a 6-month Software Maintenance Subscription, with which the Licensee can install updates of any licensed software modules or report library additions published subsequent to the Evaluation Software originally installed. The licensee is encouraged but not obligated to renew subsequent Software Maintenance subscriptions on an annual basis. The corresponding software license definitions granted under this progression of available software versions, upgrades, and subscription options are detailed in the following sections and summarized in the attached table.
