The 'Software and firmware upgrades' clause defines the obligations and procedures related to updating or enhancing the software and firmware components of a product or system. The Service provider (SP) will have an expert travel and visit the site(s) premises as per the schedule. During his working travel the expert will perform a technical check-up of the entire system which will involve the following: i. Physical inspection of the system ii. Carrying out test drives and noting down all relevant test parameters like voltages, currents, resistance, power, temperatures among others. iii. In the event of malfunctioning of the system, provide or define remedy actions to rectify the faults. iv. Generate a detailed service report which will summarize all actions taken and recommendations.
