Small Arms Training Clause Samples

Small Arms Training. The vessel shall be responsible for all small arms training. The vessel shall ensure that five crew members who will bear arms as part of their physical security duties have successfully completed a small arms familiarization course. The vessel’s course shall be taught to the same content and standards as the U.S. Navy’s Small Arms Qualifications (Ashore/Afloat) Instructor Course J-041-0148. Such training shall be completed prior to commencement of shipboard employment.
