Slurry. Use mineral or polymer slurry on this project to maintain the stability of the excavations. Manufacture mineral slurry from processed, high-sodium bentonite clays. Use polymer slurry that conforms to the manufacturer’s recommendations, that is site specific, and has been used successfully on a minimum of ten projects of similar size and scope. Adjust the percentage and specific gravity of the slurry used so that the stability of the excavation is maintained, and to allow for proper placement of the concrete.
