Site Layout. The Development Area must be laid out to effectively use existing landscape features rather than remould these or change them. Pedestrian/cycle accessways must be clearly signposted, and be differentiated from vehicle paths by using textured or coloured paving material. All signs must use an appropriate common lettering style and colour. Street lighting and furniture must be designed to suit the building design theme.

The Municipality shall be responsible for ensuring that all site layout, construction work, and Project documentation are in compliance with applicable city, state and federal permits, guidelines, and regulations, including American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) guidelines and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design (xxx.xxxxx.xxx/xxx/xxx/xxxxxxx.xxx).

Site Layout. The Consultant reviews and optimises the site layout for the Ash Dump with all its associated infrastructure and supporting facilities. The Consultant considers the proposed layout and sizing of the new PCD’s which are described within the Concept Design Report. The Consultant identifies suitable locations for topsoil stockpiles, materials stockpiles and laydown areas. As a minimum the Consultant considers space requirements and environmental restrictions when identifying the stockpile locations. The design of the temporary facilities must include the associated access roads, fencing and lighting.
