Single Crew. Where only one crew is employed on a specific job between Monday and Friday (excluding recognized holidays) the hours of work shall be 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and payment shall be at straight time rates. Payment for work performed before 8:00 a.m. and after 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and recognized holidays shall be at the prevailing overtime rate. Since this schedule does not constitute shift work, shift premium is not applicable. When a second dispatch is made to supplement this original crew (i.e. no one sent home), the additional crew members form part of the initial crew and receive payment as set forth above. Principle 2

  • Default – Reprocurement Costs In case of Contract breach by Contractor, resulting in termination by the County, the County may procure the goods and/or services from other sources. If the cost for those goods and/or services is higher than under the terms of the existing Contract, Contractor will be responsible for paying the County the difference between the Contract cost and the price paid, and the County may deduct this cost from any unpaid balance due the Contractor. The price paid by the County shall be the prevailing market price at the time such purchase is made. This is in addition to any other remedies available under this Contract and under law.
