Common use of Significant Events Clause in Contracts

Significant Events. Significant events may occur including, but not limited to, failure of equipment, hazardous materials incident, regulatory actions, fires, earthquakes, floods, or labor actions that detrimentally impact the CONTRACTOR’s operations, marketing, labor relations and customer relations. CONTRACTOR will notify the City Representative within two (2) hours of any significant events that negatively impacts its ability to collect, process, or dispose of the material. CITY considers any disruption of more than four (4) hours to be significant.

Significant Events. 10 Significant events may occur including, but not limited to, : failure of equipment, 11 hazardous materials incident, regulatory actions, fires, earthquakes, floods, or labor 12 actions that detrimentally impact the CONTRACTOR’s operations, marketing, labor 13 relations and customer relations.
