SICK LEAVE - LTO Clause Samples
The SICK LEAVE - LTO clause defines the rules and entitlements regarding sick leave for employees on Long-Term Occasional (LTO) contracts. It typically outlines how much paid or unpaid sick leave an LTO employee is eligible for, the process for notifying the employer of an absence due to illness, and any documentation required, such as a doctor's note for extended absences. This clause ensures that LTO employees understand their rights and obligations when they are unable to work due to illness, providing clarity and consistency in the administration of sick leave benefits.
