Shift starting time. For Home Health and Hospice nurses, the 5 shift shall begin with the first patient visit or when the nurse first reports to 6 the office, at a mutually agreed upon start time for each position. In the 7 event that the manager and employee cannot come to an agreement, the 8 start time will be 0800. For twelve (12) hour Xxxx Xxxxx Hospice House 9 nurses, the day shift will begin at 0700 and the night shift will begin at 10 1900. For eight (8) hour Xxxx Xxxxx Hospice House nurses, the day shift 11 shall begin at 0700, the evening shift at 1500, and the night shift at 2300.

Employees required to rotate shifts shall be assigned for a consecutive period of two weeks on the off shift and such period on day shift, as to ensure equal distributionof rotation to all rotating employees. Shift exchanges shall be at the mutual Agreement of the employees involved, however, such variations shall be put in writing, and approved by the supervisor in the week prior to the rotation. Such approval will not be unreasonablydenied. Backup employees may only exchange shifts with employees in the same primary and backup classifications. If conditionsrequire the operation of a third shift, the Company will negotiate a fair and equitable rotation schedule with the Shop Committee.
