Shared Services. 5.8 There will be a greater sharing of resources through the use of shared services within the Local Government sector and across the Public Service. In the Local Government sector, shared service approaches could be investigated to leverage additional value from processes related to the register of electors (which is expected to come within the mandate of an Independent Electoral Commission in accordance with the renewed Programme for Government) and the processing of motor tax applications.
