Shared Risk Pool Program. Distribution of the Shared ------------------------- Risk Pool shall be made to Provider and the Medicare Risk Capitated Medical Group/IPA(s) based upon the measurement of actual hospital utilization as measured each contract year, and in accordance with the Shared Risk Pool Matrix contained in Exhibit 4 to this Addendum. For purposes of this measurement, "hospital days" shall include the following: all acute inpatient (in and out-of-area) days, all out-patient surgery days, all skilled nursing facility (SNF) days and any other subacute days. Each outpatient surgical episode shall count as one "hospital day", each SNF day as 0.25 day and other subacute days as 0.
