Share Repurchase Programs Sample Clauses
A Share Repurchase Programs clause authorizes a company to buy back its own shares from the market or shareholders. This clause typically outlines the conditions under which repurchases can occur, such as timing, volume limits, and compliance with applicable laws or regulations. By enabling share buybacks, the clause provides the company with flexibility to manage its capital structure, return value to shareholders, or signal confidence in the business, while also helping to prevent unwanted dilution or hostile takeovers.
