Common use of SEVERENCE Clause in Contracts

SEVERENCE. In the event that any provision of this Agreement is found to violate federal, state or city law/regulation, such provision shall immediately be considered null and void and the remaining provisions of this contract will stay in force. If a clause is found unlawful, the parties may agree to bargain to secure legal compliance with the clause found unlawful, if appropriate.
