Common use of SEVERABILITY/SURVIVABILITY Clause in Contracts

SEVERABILITY/SURVIVABILITY. If any of the provisions contained in this Agreement are held by a court of law or arbitrator to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be impaired, and the parties shall negotiate an equitable adjustment of this Contract so that the purposes of this Contract are not affected. All provisions concerning indemnity survive the termination or expiration of this Contract for any cause.
