Common use of Severability; Conflicts Clause in Contracts

Severability; Conflicts. Any provision of this Deed of Trust, the Indenture, the Senior Notes, or any other Security Document which is prohibited or unenforceable in any jurisdiction shall as to such provision and such jurisdiction, be ineffective to the extent of such prohibition or unenforceability without invalidating the remaining provisions of this Deed of Trust, the Indenture, the Senior Notes, or other Security Documents or affecting the validity or enforceability of such provision in any other jurisdiction. In the event of any conflict between the terms of this Deed of Trust and the terms of the Indenture, the terms of the Indenture shall control.
