Common use of Severability and Modification Clause in Contracts

Severability and Modification. Each restriction which is separately stated in any section, subsection, paragraph, or clause of §§8 or 9 of this Agreement is independent of each other such restriction, and if any such restriction is held for any reason not to be capable of modification so as to cause it to be valid and enforceable, then the invalidity or unenforceability of such restriction shall not invalidate, affect, or impair in any way the validity and enforceability of any other such restriction.
