Common use of Severability and Limitation Clause in Contracts

Severability and Limitation. All agreements and covenants contained herein are severable and in the event any of them shall be held to be invalid by competent authority, this Agreement shall be interpreted as if such invalid agreements or covenants were not contained herein. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, in the event that the provisions of this Agreement should ever be deemed to exceed the scope of business, time or geographic limitations permitted by applicable law, then such provisions shall be and are hereby reformed to the maximum scope, time or geographic limitations permitted by such applicable law.
