Sever Sample Clauses
The "Sever" clause allows for the removal or disregard of any part of a contract that is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions. In practice, if a specific term is deemed unenforceable by a court, only that term is severed, and the rest of the agreement continues to operate as intended. This clause ensures that the contract remains effective and enforceable even if certain parts are problematic, thereby preserving the parties' overall agreement and minimizing disruption.
