Common use of Settlement Effective Date Clause in Contracts

Settlement Effective Date. The effective date of this Agreement (the “Settlement Effective Date”) shall be the date on which each of the following conditions to the effectiveness of the settlement set forth herein has been satisfied: a. Each Party’s execution and delivery of this Agreement; b. The approval by a duly authorized official of the United States Department of Justice of the settlement set forth herein, as evidenced by the signature of FEMA, the SBA, and the Federal Agencies to this Agreement; c. The Bankruptcy Court’s entry of an order granting the Approval Motion; and d. The Effective Date of the Chapter 11 Plan.
