This role involves the removal of an existing die and the replacement of this with another die. This level may also be utilised for the 2nd year of the Setting Traineeship. This role is responsible for the packing and distribution of goods to the stores area for the customer. Qualification can include a forklift license but employees at this level will not be required to operate a Forklift. 2nd Class Machinist A 2nd Class Machinist is responsible for the extrusion of raw material for the production of a final product for the customer. This is an entry-level position and will be utilised for employees who are being trained in Clipsal processes. A valid forklift licence is essential. An employee may be classified in this classification for a maximum period of 12 months but may progress to the Level Six classification sooner if he or she meets the requirements of that classification.
