Common use of Serving It Right Clause in Contracts

Serving It Right. All Employees agree to acquire certification by the "Serving It Right Program", as required by the Province. Probationary employees agree to acquire certification no later than at the end of their probationary period. For employees hired after July 01, 1999, the cost of this program shall be paid by the Employer, on their third anniversary of employment. Employees who are not certified may not be scheduled.

All new hired employees will have a minimum of two events job shadowing before being able to commence working alone. The Employer will provide ongoing training for existing employees.
