SERVICES SOUGHT. The Village is seeking to obtain the services of the selected design and engineering professionals to incorporate public space design concepts such as complete streets, urban vitality, and local identity into the identified projects in a holistic approach for the Village’s public spaces. By means of this RFQ, the Village seeks to contract with a Landscape Architectural and Engineering Firm to serve as Lead Consultant for the community outreach, design, permitting and installation, for the construction of various public space improvements in a phased approach. Prior to the submission deadline, a Pre-Submittal meeting will be held on October 29 2018 starting at 11:00 am, Bal Harbour Village Hall second floor conference room, ▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. The meeting will provide additional information regarding the details of this RFQ. Submissions received pursuant to this RFQ will be evaluated and ranked in accordance with the criteria established in Section 4.7.2. One or more of the ranked proposers will be invited to present visual examples of similar project experience related to streetscapes and waterfront public space designs to the Evaluation Committee along with preliminary concepts for possible improvements to the Bal Harbour Jetty, Cut Walk, 96 Street end and associated areas. Following the Evaluation Committee meeting with the selected proposers, one or more firms will be forwarded to the Village Manager for further consideration and recommendation to the Bal Harbour Village Council. If the Village Council approves the Village Manager’s recommendation, the Village will enter into contract negotiations and execution
