SERVICE INTERUPTIONS Clause Samples
The SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS clause defines the rights and responsibilities of the parties in the event that the provided service is temporarily unavailable or disrupted. Typically, this clause outlines the circumstances under which interruptions may occur, such as scheduled maintenance or unforeseen technical issues, and may specify the provider's obligations to notify users, restore service, or offer remedies like service credits. Its core practical function is to set expectations and procedures for handling service downtime, thereby minimizing disputes and clarifying liability when interruptions happen.
