Common use of Separation Certificate Clause in Contracts

Separation Certificate. Where a decision has been made to terminate Employees in the circumstances outlined in clause 2.8.1, the Employer will issue the Employee with a separation certificate giving all relevant information about the employment history of the individual including start and finish dates of employment. The Employer will provide to the Employee a separation certificate as soon as possible after termination but by no later than four (4) working days after the termination date.
