Seniority Classifications. The seniority classifications recognized under this Agreement shall be: Bus Driver and Bus Monitor. All seniority under this Agreement shall be by classification. Seniority may be exercised only in the classification in which it is accumulated.

Seniority Classifications. CLASSIFICATION GROUPS
Seniority Classifications. The seniority of each employee is his or her relative position with respect to other employees in accordance with the seniority groups in Appendix A attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Seniority Classifications. 1. Employees shall be classified by the Seniority Board on the following basis: Group A seniority shall be enjoyed by those employees who have maintained continuous service under the jurisdiction of Local 333 since October 1, 1955 through September 30, 1970. Group B seniority shall be enjoyed by those employees who have maintained continuous service under the jurisdiction of Local 333 since October 1, 1959 through September 30, 1970. Group C seniority shall be enjoyed by those employees who have maintained continuous service under the jurisdiction of Local 333 since October 1, 1963 through September 30, 1970. Group D seniority shall be enjoyed by those employees who have maintained continuous service under the jurisdiction of Local 333 since October 1, 1966 through September 30, 1970. Group E seniority shall be enjoyed by those employees who have maintained continuous service under the jurisdiction of Local 333 since October 1, 1968 through September 30, 1970. Group F seniority shall be enjoyed by those employees who have maintained continuous service under the jurisdiction of Local 333 in either Contract Year October 1, 1969 through September 30, 1970, or October 1, 1970 through September 30, 1971. Group G seniority shall be enjoyed by those employees who have maintained continuous service under the jurisdiction of Local 333 in both contract years October 1, 1971 through September 30, 1972 and October 1, 1972 through September 30, 1973. Group H seniority shall be enjoyed by those employees who have maintained continuous service under the jurisdiction of Local 333 in either Contract Year October 1, 1974 through September 30, 1975, or October 1, 1975 through September 30, 1976. Group I seniority shall be enjoyed by those employees who have maintained continuous service under the jurisdiction of Local 333 in either Contract Year October 1, 1977 through September 30, 1978, or Contract Year October 1, 1978 through September 30, 1979. Group J seniority shall be enjoyed by those employees who have maintained continuous service under the jurisdiction of Local 333 in either Contract Year October 1, 1981 through September 30, 1982, or Contract Year October 1, 1982 through September 30, 1983. Group K seniority shall be enjoyed by those employees who have maintained 700 hours under the jurisdiction of Local 333 for the Contract Year ending September 30, 1986. Seniority Classifications. After completion of the introductory period, as outlined in Section 3.05 of this Agreement, seniority shall be determined by the employee’s length of continuous service with the Employer since the employee’s last date of hire to work in one of the classifications listed below: Job Classification General Maintenance Vehicle Maintenance Electrician Electrician/HVAC Electrician/Revenue Control Baggage Handling System Technician* Building Maintenance Mechanic Landscape Gardener Store Room Clerk Maintenance Helper Lighting Maintenance Technician General Maintenance Trainee Vehicle Maintenance Trainee Building Maintenance Mechanic Trainee Landscape Gardener Trainee * For payroll purposes, this classification has two (2) rates of pay as a result of the Employer and the Union agreeing to allow a Building Maintenance Mechanic to bid into this position although the employee does not possess the appropriate electrical license. This employee’s rate of pay was continued at the Building Maintenance Mechanic’s wage rate, but his seniority date is in the Baggage Handling System Technician classification.

Seniority may be exercised only in the classification in which it is accumulated. Seniority in classification shall be as of the date of entry into that classification, except for a probationary employee, in which case seniority shall only begin to accrue after completion of the probationary period, as specified in (2) above. Movement from one classification to another shall not terminate seniority that the employee has previously accumulated m the other seniority classification under this Agreement, provided there has not been a break in continuous employment. However, seniority shall not continue to accrue in the employee's former classification.

Seniority Classifications. The seniority of each employee is the employee's relative position with respect to other employees within the job classification based on the employee's date of hire, rehire or transfer date into the Bargaining Unit, whichever is later. "Job Classification," is a specific job title within the bargaining unit. On and after March 31, 2014, the lowest last four digits of the Social Security Number (SSN) will determine the greater seniority for same date hires, rehires, or transfers. In the event there is a tie with the last four digits of the SSN, use the lowest preceding number until the tie is broken.
