Common use of SECURITY WATCHES Clause in Contracts

SECURITY WATCHES. When Mates are required by the Company to operate dozer boats and the Master considers it necessary for the security of the vessel or barge to be on duty for an excessive number of hours, the Master shall be entitled to be paid overtime for these hours. Every new continuous operating tug must have two (2) radars. Radar powered transmitters will be insulated to isolate high frequency noise, where practical.
