Common use of Security Awareness Clause in Contracts

Security Awareness. West shall ensure that its employees and contractors remain aware of industry standard security practices, and their responsibilities for protecting the Customer Information. This shall include, but not be limited to: i. Protection against malicious software (such as viruses); ii. Appropriate password protection and password management practices; and iii. Appropriate use of workstations and computer system accounts. iv. West requires annual Information Security and Compliance training, Privacy training and Business Ethics Training for all employees and contract resources
