Common use of Security Awareness Clause in Contracts

Security Awareness. Each party shall ensure that its employees, contractors and agents remain aware of industry standard security practices, and their respective responsibilities for protecting the Acquirer’s Confidential Information and the Planet Payment Services Resources. This shall include, but not be limited to: (a) Protection against malicious software (such as viruses); (b) Appropriate password protection and password management practices; and (c) Appropriate use of workstations and computer system accounts.
