Securing Communication. Secure communication between the frontend and the backend is accomplished through two security levels. The first level is to route the user traffic through the Tor network to maximize the security and privacy levels. Otherwise, if the user does not use Tor, the frontend will communicate through a direct HTTPS connection, but in this case user anonymity is not guaranteed.
