Common use of Section Definition Clause in Contracts

Section Definition. For the purpose of this Agreement, when the words “plant used it shall mean plantcommittee, members of which are appointed by the Union. The committee shall consist of not less than three (3) employees and not more than seven (7) employees with completed probationary period of employment with the Company who are members of the Union and they shall be selected, wherever possible, on a departmental basis. The Union will, within sixty (60) days from the date of this Agreement, notify the Company in writing of the members on the committee. The Union or Committee will inform the Company in writing when any member change takes place on the Committee. No member of the Committee will be recognized by the Company unless the above procedure is carried out.
