Common use of Section 8.2.1.1 Clause in Contracts

Section 8.2.1.1. hired employee, who on July 1, has not completed twelve (12) months of 12 employment shall earn and be granted a proportional number of days of paid vacation as 13 those months of completed employment (eleven (11) days of work in a calendar month 14 shall constitute a full "month") bear to twelve (12) months; such computation shall be 15 rounded out to the nearest full day. Such employees shall earn one (1) additional day of 16 paid vacation for each year of service completed thereafter, consistent with 18 or more days of paid vacation. In the event the proportional computation herein results 19 in less than six (6) days, the employee will earn ten (10) days in the second year of 20 employment and one (1) additional day of paid vacation for each year of service 21 completed thereafter, consistent with Section 8.2.1 above.
