Common use of Section 6.4.1 Clause in Contracts

Section 6.4.1. 42 All hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours shall be compensated at the rate of one and one- 43 half (1½) times the employee’s regular pay. An employee may, at his/her option, select 44 compensatory time off in lieu of overtime compensation. Compensatory time, if selected, may 45 be accrued; provided, however, that records shall be maintained and there must be a reasonable 46 expectation that the employee will be provided an opportunity to expend the accrued time. The 47 District shall not solicit employees to accept compensatory time in lieu of other compensation.
