Section 6.3.4. 24 Employees shall be allowed a rest period of not less than ten (10) minutes, on the District’s 25 time, for each four (4) hours of work time. Rest periods shall be scheduled as near as possible 26 to the midpoint of the work period. No employee shall be required to work more than three (3) 27 hours without a rest period.
Section 6.3.4. Bus drivers shall be paid their regular hourly rate of pay for attending safety and other 34 meetings as assigned by the District. Biannual physical examinations will be paid for by the District 35 pursuant to the examination required by Washington State Form DLE-520-061 (physical exam of 36 commercial drivers) or such replacement form, provided that the employee goes to the District's 37 appointed doctor. Any other District-directed physical examination/test shall be fully paid by the 38 District. All such payments shall be direct from the District to the examining facility.

One (1) required DOT physical examination will be paid for by the 34 District per year, provided that the employee goes to the District's appointed doctor. Any other 35 District-directed physical examination/test shall be fully paid by the District. All such 36 payments shall be direct from the District to the examining facility. Employees' choosing 37 another approved DOT medical examiner for the required DOT physical examination shall be 38 reimbursed an amount not greater than that paid by the District to the approved DOT medical 39 examiner. Employees must have a receipt showing that they paid the xxxx for reimbursement 40 and that the examiner must by on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners as per 41 OSPI. 42

  • Section 6.2 33 The Association representatives shall represent the Association and employees in meeting with 34 officials of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and 35 investigate to conclusion complaints or grievances of employees and thereafter advise employees of 36 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 37 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 38 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. The Association may consult 39 with the District on complaints without a grievance being made by an individual employee.

  • Section 4.5 7 The President of the Association and designated representatives may be provided time off without loss 8 of pay to a maximum of ten (10) days per year to attend local, regional or State meetings when the 9 purpose of those meetings is in the best interest of the District as determined by the District 10 administration.
