Section 3.7. Evaluations. 8 The District shall provide each classified employee with an annual written evaluation. All evaluations 9 shall use the form(s) that are attached to this Agreement. The employee evaluation shall be completed 10 at least ten (10) workdays prior to the conclusion of the employee’s contracted work year. As part of 11 the annual evaluation, a conference between the evaluating supervisor/administrator and the employee 12 shall be held. A copy of the evaluation must be given to the employee at the conference or within ten 13 (10) workdays of the evaluation conference. Employees may attach comments within thirty (30) 14 business workday of receiving the written evaluation. Employees shall sign the evaluation. This 15 signature only acknowledges receipt of the evaluation.
Section 3.7. Evaluations. 38 Regular employees shall be formally evaluated by the end of February of each year by their supervisor 39 designated for evaluation purposes. New Hire employees shall be formally evaluated prior to the end of 40 their sixty (60) working day probationary period. All evaluations shall use the Performance Appraisal Form 41 included as Attachment A of this Agreement. 42 43 All evaluations shall be discussed with the employee. A copy of the evaluation shall be made available to 44 the employee twenty-four (24) hours prior to the discussion of that evaluation and a copy shall be placed in 45 the employee's personnel file. Within five (5) working days of receipt of the evaluation the employee may 46 attach his/her own comments to the evaluation.
Section 3.7. Evaluations. 22 Evaluations of employees shall be performed by appropriate supervisors. Evaluations shall relate to the 23 employee’s assigned duties and job descriptions. The purpose of performance evaluations is to 24 determine how well an employee is performing assigned duties. Employees shall be informally 25 observed each year. All employees, including new employees, shall be evaluated annually. Evaluations 26 are to be completed no later than the last day of school in which the evaluation takes place. 28 The employee shall sign the District’s copy of the evaluation to indicate that he or she has received a 29 copy of the evaluation. Upon completion of an evaluation by the supervisor, the employee shall be 30 provided with a copy of the evaluation. The signature of the employee does not, however, imply the 31 employee agrees with the contents of the evaluation. The employee shall have the right to attach any 32 comments to the evaluation within ten (10) workdays following the evaluation conference.

The signature of the employee does not, however, imply that the employee 32 agrees with the contents of the evaluation report. 34 All employees newly employed by the school district shall be evaluated within the first ninety (90) 35 calendar days of the commencement of their employment. 37 Upon completion of an evaluation by the Superintendent or his/her designee, the employee shall be 38 provided with a copy of the evaluation. 40 The employee shall have the right to attach any comments to the evaluation report within ten (10) 41 working days following the evaluation conference. 42

Employees may within seven (7) working days of receipt 43 of their evaluation submit a written response to be attached to it.

Section 3.7. Evaluations. 19 The purpose of the evaluation is to document the District’s assessment of the job performance of the 20 employee and also to guide the employee in the performance of his/her duties. Each employee will be 21 evaluated in writing by his/her supervisor/designee at least once during the employee’s work year but, 22 no later than May 30. A copy of the evaluation report(s) will be provided to the employee. The 23 employee will have the opportunity to discuss the completed evaluation report with his/her evaluator.
