Section 10.6.3. 13 When the District determines that temporary help is needed to perform additional duties, e.g., 14 additional summer custodians, maintenance, etc., such positions will be posted pursuant to 15 Section 10.8. 17 Employees within the same general job classification as the temporary summer work will have 18 preferential rights as specified in Section 10.6.2 for such positions. 20 Employees not in the same general job classification as the temporary summer work will be 21 considered by the District before employing individuals not in the bargaining unit. However, 22 selection from employees who do not enjoy seniority within the required general job 23 classification shall be exclusively District responsibility.
