Section 1. General. Employees shall operate within state law and District policy in maintaining good order and discipline in their classrooms at all times. The District shall support teachers in their effort to maintain discipline and shall respond as soon as possible to an employee's concerns regarding discipline problems. Authority for employees to use prudent discipline measures for the safety and well-being of students and teachers shall be supported by the District provided that: (1) employees have followed established District policy and procedures, and;
