The process of deciding the scope and level of detail of an SA, including the sustainability effects and options which need to be considered, the assessment methods to be used, and the structure and contents of the SA Report. Significant Effect – Effects which are significant in the context of the Plan. (Annex II of the SEA Directive gives criteria for determining the likely environmental significance of effects).
