School Closure and Delayed Opening. A. In the event that it becomes necessary to close the school(s) because of inclement weather, flood, volcanic disruption or other acts of God, the district administration shall notify the radio and television stations in the area in a timely manner. B. When schools are closed because of inclement weather, ice, snow or other emergencies or hazardous conditions, employees who are unable to report may use emergency leave as defined in Article IV Section 13.
