School Based Positions. An employee in a position with a work year of 216 days or less returning from any extended leave must file intent to return to the District no later than March 1. An employee who commences a leave period on or after March 1 must notify the Human Resources Department of intent to return to the District prior to the last day of the school year. Failure to notify the District as described above will be considered a resignation on the part of the employee effective at the conclusion of the leave period or the school year, whichever comes first.
