School • Staff members will be accessible and communicate with families on scholar’s progress via email, by phone, conferences, agenda books, Google Classroom or Class DoJo as requested. • Communication will be in a family’s native language and transportation will be available upon request. • Provide workshop opportunities for parents. • Involve parents in decisions about school and academic policies through ILT and PAC meetings. • Explain instructional and behavioral expectations for scholars. • Use data to involve students in rigorous comprehension and problem- solving activities. • Provide opportunities to meet the needs of diverse learners. • Provide and involve parents in various opportunities to volunteer. • Review student achievement and school compact during parent conferences. • Use data to guide learning to deliver high-quality curriculum and rigorous instruction This agreement is a pledge to work together to share responsibility for student learning, high achievement, and student success in school and in life. This compact is aligned with our School Improvement Plan to promote student learning, student attendance, a positive school climate and with our grade level learning outcomes. Upon request, interpreters and transportation can be provided so families can attend school functions. Documents will be translated as needed.
