Schematic Layout Sample Clauses
Schematic Layout. The Engineer shall develop geometric design schematics based on the conceptual schematics after the basic layout, lane arrangement, and ROW and easements requirements depicted on the conceptual schematics are approved. The State may require this task be performed using OpenRoads Technology. Schematic Layout must contain the following:
a. Base map information and vicinity maps
b. Geopak calculated alignments for mainlanes, ramps, connectors, frontage roads and cross streets with horizontal curve date and proposed pavement cross slopes.
c. Proposed edge of pavement, curbs, and striping
d. Typical Sections. The Engineer shall develop both existing and proposed typical sections that depict the number and type of lanes, shoulders, median width, curb offsets, cross slope, border width, clear zone widths, and ROW limits.
e. Proposed bridges and other structures
f. Utility – Existing and proposed conflicts/adjustments
g. Pedestrian and bicycle accommodations
h. Proposed ROW limits and access control
i. Roadside Safety Appurtenances, Guide Sign information, Signing , CTMS
j. Title Block with proposed design speeds and functional classification k. Design exceptions
Schematic Layout. The location of interchanges, main lanes, grade separations, frontage roads and ramps.
