SCE Penalties Sample Clauses

The SCE Penalties clause establishes the consequences or financial penalties that apply if a party fails to meet specific obligations or performance standards outlined in the contract. Typically, this clause details the types of breaches that trigger penalties, the calculation method for such penalties, and the process for their enforcement. For example, if a service provider misses a delivery deadline or fails to maintain agreed service levels, predetermined penalty amounts may be deducted from payments or invoiced separately. The core function of this clause is to incentivize compliance and provide a clear, enforceable remedy for non-performance, thereby protecting the interests of the non-breaching party.
