Common use of Save Clause in Contracts

Save. Additional information and guidance o The Phamacy must understand that by turning the DoS to RED, means that their serivce will not show as an option for the patient during that time.  The DoS supplies data to 111, 111 on-line and NHS Choices (XXX.xx) as well as NHS Digital accredited 3rd Party Apps. o The funchiallity will close the service for a set amount of time (4 hours) o The system will revert automatically back to GREEN after this timescale.  Green means the service is live on the DoS and visable as an option. o If the closure is longer then 4 hours  The service will have to redo the process above again, just before the end of the 4 hours timescale. o If the closure is shorter then 4 hours  The serivce will have to re-enter the DoS to revert the serivce back to green, this can be done at any time during the 4 hours. o The pharmacy must understand that a Devon wide Pharmacy Closure Report will be generated on a monthly basis, giving detail of all closures and this report will go to NHS England Local Primary Care Area Team for action, if required.
